Video Quick Setup Guide
Quick Setup (Decklink
version):
• Install the application and check if it
starts OK. If not, send us the "Console.log" file and
ask for
assistance.
• Once the application is started, go into the
preferences and set them as follows:
• Playback:
• Choose
your Video Standard: HD or SD, PAL or NTSC
• Choose the output (in
case you have 2 decklink cards, you can choose on which
board will be
the output)
• Activate "as-run" logs if you need them
• Choose
your audio output
• Choose how many outputs you will have (in
case you have multiple audio channels for
multilingual signal)

Defaults:
• That's where you choose the default settings
of your playlists
• Timecode:
• Built-in
Clock
• TC
Offset: -13 frames
• Do NOT enable the "Show TC in a
floating window" option
• Logo
Overlay:
• Make sure this is disabled for the time being
•
Files/Folders:
• You can leave it as
set by default for the moment.
• Schedule:
• This is
the format of date and Time for the Schedule.
• You have to restart
the application for your changes in preferences to be
effective.
• When the app has restarted, drag and drop a
few clips into a playlist and then click on Play.
Verify that the
clips play correctly on your device.
• You can then create
other playlists (actually there is no limit to the number
of playlists you can
have)

Quick Setup (DV converter
version):
• Install the application and check if it
starts OK. If not, send us the "Console.log" file and
ask for
assistance.
• Make sure your DV device is connected and
that its name appears in the "Device" popup menu
of the current
playlist. If not, verify the connections.
• Once the application
is started, go into the preferences and set them as
follows:

General:

Clips Access Path: make sure this is empty (more in the
documentation)
• DV Settings:
• Default audio sample
rate:
• DV
Playback Buffer: 25 or 100 will do (if your drive is slow,
100 is better)
• Timecode Source:
• Built-in Clock
• TC
Offset: -13 frames
• Do NOT enable the "Show TC in a
floating window" option
• Logo Overlay:
• Make sure
this is disabled for the time being
• Just to be safe, quit
and re-launch the app
• When the app has restarted, drag and drop a
few clips into a playlist and then click on Play.
Verify that the
clips play correctly on your device.
• You can then create
other playlists (actually there is no limit to the number
of playlists you can
have) and keep in mind that the demo version will
only play 15 seconds of each clip!
