OnTheAir Switch is the application that will enable you to control Video Matrix Switcher using RS232. Use it as standalone or with OnTheAir Video to automate switching to LIVE events.

If the Matrix Video Switcher you'd like to control is not in the list of already supported Switchers, support for a Matrix Video Switcher may be added upon request. But check with us before ordering as it cannot be guaranteed that all Switchers can be controlled. Development of additional plugin will take some time and the easiest is if we can get our hands on the switcher for one day in order to make the tests and make sure we communicate properly with it. HOW MANY LICENSES DO YOU NEED?
You will need to order one license per computer connected to the Video Router and for each additional client.

WHAT ELSE WILL I NEED?
You will need to get one USB to RS232 converter such as the ones from Keyspan.

SERIAL NUMBER OR DONGLE ?
By default, when ordering a license, you will receive a Serial Number by email that will require an activation using an internet connection. Before moving your serial number to another computer, you will need to deactivate it form the first computer. We strongly advise ordering the dongle option in cases of a critical use of the software, for example, if you need to move your license frequently from one computer to another, OR if you want to quickly move the license from the main computer to the backup in case of a hardware malfunction.
