OnTheAir Video can support full HD (optional) resolution playback using Apple ProRes, DVCProHD or uncompressed video clips. All codecs can be mixed but the frame size must be identical. Soon, you'll be able to mix not only codecs, but also different frame size (SD, HD1440, HD1920...) in a playlist. Downscaling and upscaling will be automatic.

OnTheAir Video's playback engine (NAVI) has been developed since 2004 and used to be running on G4s (in SD of course) and is thus optimized to take advantages of multiple cores. It also doesn't use the Graphic card for the play out, and you do not need to have a monitor connected to your Mac to keep Open GL active as with other play out solutions.

GPI Control for integration with Video Mixer
Control OnTheAir Video from a video mixer. When pushing on a video mixer button, you can send a GPI trigger which will start or stop a clip in OnTheAir Video (this feature requires GPI Commander to convert GPI triggers to USB)

Actions for secondary events
Thanks to its flexible system of "Actions", OnTheAir Video can take control of multiple external devices such as video routers (through RS232 or Ethernet), Character Generators, logo inserters (using GPI triggers). Actions can be triggered at any moment of a clip within a playlist.

Start clips with MIDI or Timecode
OnTheAir Video is also ideal for Live shows as you can trigger the play out of clips in a playlist using MIDI notes or when a given Timecode is met. This is the perfect solution when you have to start video clips together with music and when your show is all based on timecode.

- Logo Overlay - Enables the possibility to overlay a logo over the video (without additional hardware)
- Dongle - instead of a serial number, receive a dongle that do not require activation. Ideal when you want to move your license around. One dongle can be used for up to 8 licenses (if multiple applications run on the same computer).
