OnTheAir Switch 1.1b7 is a major update for all users. It keeps the same user interface as our long term users are used to. But it has some major improvements : Blackmagic Videohub and AJA KUMO are now controllable by AppleScript !
OnTheAir Switch allow you to control a video router from OnTheAir Video (or from any application that allows you to trigger AppleScripts). With this release we are adding the control of more routers via a serial protocol (a USB to RS232 adapter is required).
The most important part of this update is that we have added the support for AJA KUMO and Blackmagic Videohub. The control of these routers is not made via the serial protocol but using a standard Ethernet connection. You just need to have your Mac in the same network as the Videorouter and it will be “discovered” with Bonjour.
This application allows anybody that would need to control a AJA KUMO or Blackmagic Videohub remotely to do so with AppleScripts.
